Jessica Chastain
Jessica Michelle Chastain was born on March 24, 1977. She is an American producer, actress, and model. Most famous for her roles in films with feminist themes. she has won numerous awards such as an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award. Time magazine named her one of the top 100 people in the world in 2012. Chastain was an actor with a passion at an early age. She made her professional stage debut as Shakespeare's Juliet in 1998. After completing her acting studies at the Juilliard School, she was awarded a talent-holding deal with the television producer John Wells. She appeared as a regular guest on several television series, and took on the roles in several stage productions. Following her film debut at the age of 31 with the drama Jolene (2008), Chastain became a household name in the year 2011 with six film releases that included the dramas Take Shelter (2011) and The Tree of Life (2011). She was awarded Academy Award nominations for playing an aspirational socialite in the period drama The Help (2011) and as a CIA analyst in the thriller Zero Dark Thirty (2012). The science-fiction films Interstellar (2014), The Martian (2015) and It Chapter Two (2018) were commercially more successful. Chastain was recognized for her portrayal of strong-willed women, for example, in the dramas Most Violent Year (2014), Miss Sloane (2016) and Molly's Game (2017). She also appeared in the TV miniseries Scenes from a Marriage (1921). In the biopic The Eyes of Tammy Faye (1921), she was Tammy Faye Bakker. She received the Academy Award as Best Actress. Tammy Wynette was the miniseries George & Tammy (222). Chastain established Freckle Films to promote diversity in film production. She is also an investor in Angel City FC. She is vocal about mental health issues, as also gender and racial equality. Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo (fashion executive) is her spouse.
