From 1972 to 1978, her most famous performance was that of Emily Hartley on The Bob Newhart show. Pleshette was Christine Broderick on Nightingales in 1989. From 1994 until 1995 she was Jackie Hansen's role on The Boys Are Back. Pleshette was a regular in the TV series Suzanne Pleshette is Maggie Briggs, Good Morning, Miami, 8 Simple Rules, Will & Grace. The actress was also a part of The Geisha Boy as well as The Birds. A Annie Award was presented to her for her voice performance in The Lion King II - Simba's Pride. Pleshette received nominations for two Golden Globe Awards.
