Tracy Spiridakos has been nominated as the best Actress in Television for NBC's post-apocalyptic sci-fi show Revolution. Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Greek-born parents. When she was 4, her family moved from Canada to Skala in Greece. It was close to Sparta. They returned when she reached the age of nine. She is strongly committed to her Greek family and heritage, and she is fluent in Greek. She was a graduate of Oak Park High School in Winnipeg in the year 2000. Spiridakos moved from Vancouver at the end of 2007 in order to pursue acting. Within a few weeks, she landed her first television role in a minor part of Supernatural. After a couple of years working on TV, Spiridakos got her first big part as a starring role in Majority Rules, in the year 2009.
